COLUMBIANA, Ohio (WKBN) — Cooper Brown triple-double performance powered the Columbiana Clippers to a dominant 68–43 victory over Southern on Friday night, extending their unbeaten start to the season.
The Columbiana senior delivered an outstanding all-around game, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Brown also made his presence felt on defense, recording four blocks and four steals, helping the Clippers control the game from start to finish.
In addition to Brown’s triple-double, Senator Johnson led all scorers with a game-high 25 points, playing a key role in Columbiana’s balanced offensive attack.Southern was led by Landon Hefner, who scored 15 points for the Indians. Despite the effort, Southern dropped to 0–5 on the season. The Indians will look to rebound when they host Jefferson County Christian on Saturday, Dec. 20.
